Antalya, April 10 – 16, 2025
The first edition of the workshops took place on April 10–16, 2025 in Antalya, Türkiye hosted by OAMTAL.

Following the successful development of the EVOCE educational platform, pilot workshops were conducted to test the project results. It was assumed that the workshops would take the form of a field training, in which students and teachers from all partner schools and lecturers from the Silesian University of Technology would participate. Two editions of the workshops were planned.
The first edition of the workshops took place on April 10–16, 2025. The workshop coordinator was the partner school from Turkey: Orhan Abalioğlu Meslekİ ve Teknİk Anadolu Lİsesİ (OAMTAL), and the training base was the Viking Hotel in Kemer. In addition to the coordinating school, students from Tallinna Polutehnikum from Estonia and the Technical School Complex (Zespol Szkol Technicznych) from Wodzisław Śląski took part in the workshops. The lecture staff consisted of lecturers from the Silesian University of Technology dr Michał Jeleń, dr Grzegorz Jarek, dr Aleksander Bodora and the coordinator of the entire project, Prof. Mariusz Stepien.
An important complement to the workshop classes, which took place entirely on the premises of the hotel in Kemer, was a visit by the project participants to a vocational secondary school located in Antalya: Alİ Bahar AOSB Teknİk Koleji. During the visit to the school in Antalya, in addition to visiting the laboratory, teaching and sports parts of the school, a seminar was also held to disseminate the project results addressed to the staff and students attending classes at this school. The dissemination seminar was conducted using digital tools developed in the project.
The workshops also included an integration and cultural-cognitive programme, which is essential in all Erasmus+ activities. As part of this part of the activity, the participants visited, among others, Demre, where they visited the ancient Lycian tombs and the Basilica of St. Nicholas, and Antalya with a medieval mosque and the ancient Hadrian’s Gate. The integration part also includes joint admiration of the sunrise in Kemer and an expedition to the viewpoint towering over the town.
At the end of the workshops, a survey was conducted among the participants, where questions were asked about both the substantive part of the training and logistical and organizational matters. All the comments from the participants were used to improve both the training program and future workshops.
