Last days of May 2023 was a time when representatives of DigiVET partner organizations participated in study visit in Madrid. The event was hosted by EDIBON which is located in Mostoles – neighbor town to Madrid. The group of visitors counted 15 people and included 2 teachers from school in Tallinn, Estonia, 3 teachers from OAMTAL from Denizli, Turkey, 4 teachers from ZST from Poland, 4 representatives from Silesian University of Technology and by one representative from EDI and EFTA. Visitors were assisted by local staff of EDIBON.

The visit was focused on hardware equipment supporting education, especially VET areas. The most important part was visit at production zone of EDIBON company where Myriam Bonilla – CEO of the EDIBON explained current developments of equipment dedicated to education.

The second important part was discussion about the project progress. Participants discussed advancement of elaboration of training materials and planned the most important forthcoming activities.

The visit in EDIBON company was enriched by guided tour in Madrid (it took place during the first afternoon) and visit to UNESCO heritage site El Escorial famous with huge monastery containing Pantheon of Spanish Kings.

The study visit in EDIBON was a training time for teachers and staff involved in VET education focused on importance of laboratory trainings and interdisciplinary aspects of VET education.
