March 5th to 12th, 2023.
In an immersive co-creation workshop held from March 5th to 12th, 2023, teachers engaged in the DigiVET project implementation, alongside representatives from supporting partner organizations, convened in Poland. The primary objective was to refine the scope and structure of training materials for the EVOCE platform.
The week-long event comprised technical workshop sessions, auxiliary meetings, and integration discussions. Five essential working days were dedicated to collaborative efforts.
The initial two days, hosted by the Silesian University of Technology, featured presentations on university labs and teaching programs at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Detailed discussions on study programs at partner schools followed, emphasizing international collaboration.
Participants explored diverse facets of Polish education, visiting Zespol Szkol Technicznych in Wodzislaw Slaski, Academic Secondary School in Gliwice, and the unique Coal Mine Guido. These visits provided insights into facilities, study programs, and cultural nuances.
Cultural entertainment, including a Visual Concert at Spodek entertainment hall in Katowice, added a vibrant touch to the experience. An evening visit to the Coal Mine Guido, 320 meters underground, showcased the region’s rich industrial heritage.
The concluding day focused on wrapping up the workshop, defining the project timeline for the coming months, and conducting a certification ceremony. Teachers aligned on the range of training materials planned for development.
This workshop not only fostered collaboration but also set the stage for innovative strides in vocational education.
