In a collaborative effort to pioneer the ‘Digital Transformation of Curricula for Vocational High Schools in Electrical Engineering and Electronics – DIGIVET’ project, partners embarked on a transformative study visit to Orhan Abalıoğlu Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (OAMTAL) in Denizli from May 17 to May 20, 2023.

Partners immersed themselves in a detailed exploration of OAMTAL, where they not only toured state-of-the-art facilities but also engaged in meaningful interactions with the school’s principal and dedicated teachers. Highlights of the visit included an in-depth look at the Virtual Reality (VR) Classroom, Industrial Automation Technologies area, and the Mercedes Laboratory, offering valuable insights into cutting-edge educational practices.

The visit extended to the heart of OAMTAL’s Electrical and Electronics Department, where partners observed live classes. This firsthand experience allowed them to witness the practical implementation of the DIGIVET project’s objectives, fostering a deeper understanding of the impact on students and teachers alike.

Beyond immersive experiences, partners engaged in fruitful discussions, strategically planning for future project activities. This collaborative effort ensures the seamless execution of commitments and sets the stage for the DIGIVET project’s continued success.

The study visit concluded on a high note, leaving partners inspired by the progress witnessed at OAMTAL. The visit not only strengthened partnerships among project participants but also laid a solid foundation for the transformative impact DIGIVET will have on vocational education in the dynamic field of Electrical Engineering and Electronics.
